[3] report — new roadmap ideas

Today, I received the results of the assessment of my timed essay, and it’s become clear that I need to enhance this skill. It seems like the beginning of the year will be dedicated to phonetics and basic grammar for me. Simultaneously, I’ll continue passive learning by watching English-language videos, reading materials, and developing speaking skills.

There will be a need to conduct research to determine the best strategies for achieving a C2 level. Firstly, decide which test to take and understanding its structure. Then, exploring the most effective training methods for this specific test. I’ve noticed plenty of YouTube videos where individuals who have passed the C2 exam share their experiences – all this information needs thorough exploration.

Achievements for today

  • I’ve started to get a clearer picture of how to structure my learning roadmap.
  • I’ve acquainted myself with a new skill – writing essays under time constraints. This skill holds practical value as it demands quick brainstorming, structuring ideas effectively, and using various rhetorical devices to make the text engaging and substantial.
  • I’ve discovered a new source of inspiration on YouTube – many individuals share their successful experiences of passing the C2 test.
  • I’ve been practicing tongue twisters like ‘She Sells Seashells on the Seashore.

Unfulfilled goals for today

  • I planned to train tenses and phonetics but ran out of time. I won’t disrupt my daily routine, sleep is in priority. I’ve noticed that waking up early consistently while going to bed chaotically late affects both productivity and health. My cholesterol levels have increased. In short, priorities are sleep, a proper diet, and not neglecting workouts.
